Actions speak louder than words. Seriously, do the things you say you're going to do.
Be-- Don't think about things too much.....just be (get it). This is my favorite quote from the novel "Ordinary People".
Comparison is the thief of joy. Appreciate what you have. Don't worry about others and what they may have.
Don't drink and drive.....ever....for any reason.
Excuses are lame.
Facebook is not a therapists office. Nor is it a place to air your dirty laundry. It is a social network. The end.
Gratitude is underrated. Live each day being grateful for something.....no matter how small.
Honesty is the best policy.....always.
Ignorance is not bliss. In most cases, ignorance just makes you an ass.
Jail is bad.....don't do anything that may land you there, mmmkay?
Karma does not have a statute of limitations. It isn't hard to follow the golden rule.
Laughter truly is the best medicine. It cures most things.....as do Loving and Loyal friends.
Manage your expectations of others and of situations, and you will be happier.....and less bitter about things you have no control over (I need to remember this)
NO DRAMA -- don't create it, and don't participate in it. It's like Beetlejuice. Don't even say it.
Own up to your part in things and take responsibility.
Play the best hand you can with the cards that you've been dealt.
Quit blaming other people for your problems. They will be there until you choose to change things.
Race the sun -- have full and productive days. You'll sleep better at night.
Stand up for what is right. Especially when no one else will.
Take vacations. Enjoy every day and have fun along the way.
Use correct spelling and grammar. It's not hard....don't be lazy.
Vote. It's a privilege many people do not have, and one of your freedoms that many soldiers have died to protect. The least you could do is be informed and have your say.
Work hard. Have fun. Make a difference. The world doesn't owe you a thing, so check your sense of entitlement at the door. If you really want something, you have to work for it.
Xtremists are assholes and tend to ruin everything.
You can't control what people say and do, but you can control the way you react to it.
Zen states are good for the soul.
